A few drops of oil can actually work like magic when it comes to detangling hair. The best oils for this purpose are coconut oil, olive oil or almond oil. Apply a few generous drops of any of these oils on the tangled part of your hair and rub it lightly. Let it soak the oil. Rinse the tangles with this mixture and wait for a few minutes before trying to unknot them. You will be surprised with the results.
4. Quick Fix with Water-Conditioner Mix
Want a quick solution? Then mix a generous amount of your regular hair conditioner with water and apply on the tangles with your palms. Rub gently on the tangles till they ease out and unknot like a piece of silk. Wash the residues off after you are done.
5. Petroleum Jelly – What! You Never thought of it
Yes, you read that right and it’s another quick fix when you have nothing else around. And you thought petroleum jellies are good for nothing! Dab on a generous amount of petroleum jelly on the tangles and keep it rubbing on gently till the jelly gets into the knots. Try to unknot the tangles with your fingers and then comb your hair. Wash off your hair as it will get sticky after using the petroleum jelly.
